**Job Description

**AUW has established an innovative undergraduate major in Public Health, and both positions will
 play key roles in the development of the Public Health major, as well as supporting the liberal
arts Core Curriculum.
**The usual teaching load is five courses per academic year.
**The position is based on one or two year renewable contracts.
**Job Requirements

We seek 2 outstanding candidates with teaching experience and research interests in Public Health,
 with expertise in any of the following areas: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Nutrition, Biomedical or
Maternal Health, International Health Administration and/or Health Education, particularly with commitments
 to public health education and to the improvement of health in developing Asian country populations.

Requirements for the positions include a Dr.PH or PhD with broad-based methodological skills and experience
 teaching undergraduate courses, supervising undergraduates and conducting quantitative public health research.
Both positions support an undergraduate public health major and minor andmay involve teaching courses in
introductory and advanced epidemiology, biostatistics, data analysis and guidance for public health senior
 research theses.
